Whenever I go to Virginia to visit my family, one thing will always happen. We always take a bunch of photos. It seems to always be the day we leave. We have so much time in the few days up there that we forget to take lots of photos. There’s always more time! Well, there isn’t. So, on the day we leave, the cameras come out.

My youngest sister visits twice a year from England. Her summer visits don’t coincide with our summer visits but the Christmas visits do. That makes them all the more precious. Karen is an amazing photographer and very supportive of my channel and me “building my brand”. I can always count on her to comment here and on my YouTube channel. One of her comments during my review of Shimelle’s Head in the Clouds was about making sure she would bring one of her vintage cameras so I could easily use that camera paper.

I wanted to feature the camera paper in a larger piece. Nothing I seemed to do worked though. I finally decided to cut it up. It’s not as prominent as Karen wanted, but I think the smaller size makes it more special. It becomes almost like a photo itself used in that size. I also added word stickers from Jillibean Soup’s Shades of Color Soup line that I felt described Karen.

Except for the camera print, the remaining paper comes from Jillibean Soup’s Hardy Hodgepodge Happy Camper Stew, and a bit of Holly Berry Borscht. I grabbed some stickers from on of the Simple Stories sticker sheets in my How to Kill a Kit…With Style January kit as well. The colors aren’t a perfect match yet work so well! (In my opinion at least.)

The title is from a pack of Dear Lizzy Thickers I picked up at Tuesday Morning. Of course, I had to finish up with Tonic Studio’s Nuvo Drops in Oyster Gray and Dandelion Yellow. I must add the Nuvo!!
Thanks for stopping by. Take a moment to leave a comment if you feel so inclined. Check out below for the entire process video. Have a lovely day!
I guess I can concede to what you’ve done with the camera paper. You did make sure the TLR camera was in full view, which was the important one.
